SnapRota is a staff rota scheduling application operated by SnapRota Ltd. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at hello@snaprota.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, and business name when you sign up.
  • Staff data: names and email addresses of staff members you add to your rota.
  • Rota data: shift schedules, availability submissions, and swap requests you create within the app.
  • Payment data: billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Usage data: standard server logs including IP address and browser type, used for security and debugging.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the SnapRota service.
  • To send shift notifications and rota updates to your staff.
  • To process subscription payments via Stripe.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To improve the product based on usage patterns.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors to operate SnapRota:

  • Supabase — database and authentication (EU region).
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (shift notifications, invites).
  • Vercel — application hosting and deployment.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and rota data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted, giving you time to export anything you need. You can request immediate deletion by emailing us.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@snaprota.com.

7. Cookies

SnapRota uses a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify account owners by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
